Pack Calendar

Some of the activities planned:

• Water fun! This is to get to know new faces and also a chance for old friends to reconnect. This event is all about fun! Adults, be prepared to join in. 

• Fall Festival Parade. The Sylvania community really supports the seasonal parades. This gives our pack an opportunity to show pride and to also feel the support from our wonderful community.

• Camp Miakonda Trick or Treating. Fun and games at Camp Miakonda for the whole family.

• Flag Retirement Ceremony. Great lessons are taught in this event. This is a serious and very rewarding activity that scouts remember for a lifetime.

• Field Trip. This is a field trip to a religious center. We change the location every year and will rotate through different religious groups. This gives the pack an appreciation of diversity and acceptance.

• Lego Derby. Build a car, any car that can make it down the track. The pack will give you the wheels, the rest is up to you. Fast cars are great, but creativity and design take the cake.

• Toledo Walley Hockey. Go Fish! The Boy Scouts sponsor a Scout night at the Huntington Center. Bring the family for a night of fun.

• Pinewood Derby. This decides who represents our pack at districts. The pack does a wonderful job providing use of proper tools with 'build days' prior to the race.

• Spring Campout. No tents needed for this one. We will stay in cabins at Camp Miakonda. Camp Miakonda is a great resource to have so close by. We will hike, play games, cook, and clean, while having a great time doing it.

• Memorial Day Parade. Another Sylvania community traditions that we take part of.

• Cuyahoga Valley Campout. No convenient cabin on this one. This is a travel to and tent it campout. We do camp at establish campsites, sometimes we are able to get group sites, sometimes a series of individual sites all grouped together.  Be prepared, at times we get pit toilets, and we have to provide our own water. Other types we have running water, flush toilets and maybe even showers. The pack does have all the shared supplies that we need. All you will need is your personal items, tent and sleeping bags.

• Toledo Mud Hens Baseball. A scout night at Fifth Third Field. Bring the family, have a hot dog and chips and have some family fun.
